William Bernard Latham

William Bernard Latham was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 17, 1949, to the late Louise L. Cannon and William H. Simmons. He was educated in the Birmingham City Schools System. He departed his life on April 25, 2025.Williams was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Burnetta Gail Latham, Brenda Welch, and Patrica Silmon; brothers, Darryl Burns and Freeman Smith. His celebration of peace and comfort s shared by all those who loved him; son, Erick Whitt of Birmingham, AL; loving brothers: Frank (Cynthia) cannon Jr., Charles Simmons, Tommy Irby, and William (Daphne) Simmons, III; sister, Jesse (Willie) Austin all of Birmingham, AL; a host of grandchildren, nieces nephews, cousins, and best friend Charles Burgess. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00am at Mt. Mariah Baptist Gate City.
