Ronald Brown

Ronald Brown., a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on December 4, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Graveside at Oakland Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ronald Brown affectionately known as “Greedy” was born on May 28, 1951, to the late Bessie M. Brown and Grady Steele. Ronald confessed Christ as a young child and united with Faithful Few Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Hendricks. Ronald was educated at Butler Elementary School and Carol W. Hayes High School. Ronald was loving, caring, funny and a man with few words. He loved God, Jesus, his family, friends, and anyone he encountered. He was a great person. On December 2, 2022, at 3:35 a.m., the Lord brought Ronald home to be with Him. Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie M. Brown; father, Grady Steele; grandmother, Iwilda Brown; sister, Dianne Brown-Wallace; brother, Grady Brown, Jr.; uncle, Thomas Brown and nephew, Gregory Steele, Jr. Left to cherish his precious memories and legacy, he leaves behind three loving sisters, JoAnne Brown (James) Reynolds, Debra A. Brown (John) Miller and Yolanda A. Brown; two brothers, Donald Brown and Gregory Steele, Jr.; a special niece/sister, Jo A. Brown (Charles) Drake; loving stepchildren, Natasha Christian, Aundrel Jones, Shynkina Jones and the late Lonte Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great friends and one special friend, Mr. Pentrall.
