Marcello Hopson

Marcello Hopson, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on October 30, 2022. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 4:00pm at Eastside Funeral Home.

Marcello Hopson was born on July 26, 1979, to Mr. William and Mrs. Patty Hopson in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Parker High School. After a short period of time obtained his G.E.D. He loved to cook, watch sports, listen to music and dance. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. William Jerome Hopson, Sr. Marcello leaves to mourn his passing a mother, Ms. Patty Hopson; one brother, William Hopson, Jr.; one sister, Kendra Hopson (Roderick) Clark; four aunts, Deborah (Herman) Talley, Esther Bishop, Karen Buckley-White and Mable Long; three children, Kordell Beavers, Marcus Hopson, Jr. and Kaylah Suazo; two stepchildren, Zakiyah and Darrin Harris; two nieces, Charonta Parker and Itali Clark; two nephews, Dae’Sean Knight and Roderick Clark, Jr.; a grandmother, Mrs. Ruth B. Buckley; three uncles, Milton (Mary) Buckley, Paul Buckley and Perry Buckley; special friends, Sharay Beavers and Erica Johnson and a host of close cousins, relatives and friends.
