Linda Allen, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on August 11th, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at 11:00am at Tabernacle of Praise Ministries with burial at Oakland Memorial Gardens.
Linda Ella Miller was born on March 4, 1947, to the late Albert Charles Miller, Sr and Johnnie Lee Linda Ella Miller was born on March 4, 1947, to the late Albert Charles Miller, Sr and Johnnie Lee Miller. As a child, Linda attended Eastlake Elementary school where she was tested academically for Miller. As a child, Linda attended Eastlake Elementary school where she was tested academically for the gifted program and “skipped” two grades. Thereafter, she was placed into the gifted program at the gifted program and “skipped” two grades. Thereafter, she was placed into the gifted program at Patterson Elementary School. She attended high school at C. W. Hayes High School for two (2) years Patterson Elementary School. She attended high school at C. W. Hayes High School for two (2) years but completed her final two (2) years of High School at Westfield High School and graduated with the but completed her final two (2) years of High School at Westfield High School and graduated with the class of 1964. In her adult life, she joined First Baptist Church original members of the Bells of Joy Gospel group. Years later, she married Edward L. Allen who preceded her in death. Even though she loved her career, nothing could keep her from was rewarded nicely for her work. Even though she loved her career, nothing could keep her from spending time with the love of her life, her only granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Harmon, EVERY day spending time with the love of her life, her only granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Harmon, EVERY day after her birth. She spent the remaining years spoiling her in every way.
