LaTonya Gayle Turner

LaTonya G. Turner, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on January 29, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel.  

Ms. Latonya Gayle Turner was born on January 23, 1970, to Mrs. Shelia Seay. At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ. Throughout her spiritual journey, she always trusted and relied on God. She received her formal education through the Birmingham City School system. As life for Latonya progressed, she was a loving daughter, a dedicated mother, an amazing grandmother, a devoted sister, a remarkable mother-in-law, an outstanding companion and an upstanding friend. She will forever be a beacon of light for those she loved and those who loved her. On January 29, 2023, Latonya entered into eternal rest. Her path to eternity was preceded by many loving family members. Our beloved Latonya leaves behind to cherish her precious memories a legacy of loved ones: a loving mother, Mrs. Shelia Seay; a loving son, Christopher Turner; two loving daughters, Shenita Turner and Nia Johnson; three loving granddaughters, Kahleah Hardy, Caylee and Camille Turner; four loving grandsons, Kamron, Kaden, Karson Hardy and Timothy Maulet; a loving brother, Warren Seay: a loving daughter-in-law, Tangela Turner; a loving fiancé, Joseph Collins and a host of other loving relatives to cherish.
