LV Dunn

L.V. Dunn, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on September 14th, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the Alabama National Cemetery.

L.V. Dunn transitioned to the spirit realm, September 14, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama. He was the seventh child and the youngest of the family, of the late Hildro and Josiephine Dunn. His education included Dupuy Elementary School and graduated from Carol W. Hayes High where he played football. He did further studies at Southern Technical College in Birmingham, Alabama, receiving his Associate Degree in Business Accounting/Finance and ITT Career Training Center of Birmingham, Alabama, for Telecommunications Courses. He worked at Alabama Plasma, Inc., as Lead Supervisor of Inventory Control, etc. Later, he joined the United States Navy on the USS Saratoga with active duty of Lidya Bombing in 1985. He served from 1982 to 1986 and was an E5. L.V. a person who helped everyone, my go to person and I was his. He gave ALL; though he really didn’t have, he took on a great role of caregiver for our mother and two brothers. He did what he knew and had worked in a nursing facility also. He leaves to cherish his memories (late) Willie James Addison (brother), (late) Charles Dunn (brother), Cecil Dunn (Patricia), George Arthur Dunn (sister), Juanita Deramus (Michael), and Debbie Washington (sister) and a host of nieces, nephews, and other close family members, Kerry and Erica and Arthur Washington.
