George Thomas, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on January 13, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 1:00pm at Graveside at New Grace Hill Cemetery.
George Dwight Thomas was born on June 29,1959, in Birmingham, Alabama to Georgia May and Freddie Thomas. He confessed Christ and was baptized in 1990. He received education in the Birmingham City School System where he attended Alberta Shields Elementary School and Carver High School. George was called home to Heaven on January 13, 2023, where he will be welcomed by his parents, sister, daughterin-love, and nephew. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Marzetta Thomas; stepson, Charlie Copeland; one grandson, Erreon Copeland; one sister, Brenda (Sidney) Woods; one brother, Clovis Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church members.
