Ebeneezer Finney, Jr

Ebeneezer Finney, Jr., a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on November 7th, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Eastside Funeral Home with burial at Zion Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ebeneezer Finney, Jr. was born December 26, 1970, to the late Mr. Ebeneezer Finney, Sr. and Mrs. Clara Finney. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended the Birmingham Public School system where he loved basketball and football. Ebeneezer had a big love of family. He was a listening ear when it was needed. He was a shoulder to lean on. Ebeneezer leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Barbara; children, Audrey (Robert) Harrison, Javacia (Cameron) Hinckley, Nysheem and ShaQuon Rutledge, Shy’Ailah (Tyler) Hampton and Damion Sturdivant; four brothers, Alonzo, Sr. (Wytangy) Finney, Alfonso (Shaunda) Boykins, Charlie (Le’Vell) Boykins and Jake (Ardie) Thomas; four sisters, Pamela Price, Eugenia Means, Monalisa Coleman and Connie Ranson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
