Delores Weathers

Delores Weathers, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on October 10th, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 21st, 2023, 1:00pm at Christian Valley Baptist Collegeville with burial at Zion Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Josephine Jacqueline Delores Weathers was born to Johnnie and Louvennie Atkins on March 1, 1945. She departed this life on October 10, 2023. At an early age, she confessed Christ and occasionally attended Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Birmingham City School system and was a graduate of G. W. Carver High School. In 1992, she retired from Jones Manufacturing after many dedicated years of employment. Delores loved dancing and walking as much as she could. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mr. Andrew Weathers; one daughter, Jacqueline “Lady” Morris; three sons, Mr. John Henry Patton, Mr. Willie Lee (Belinda) Patton and Mr. Floyd Morris, Jr.; six stepchildren, Andrew Weathers, Jr., Cedric Weathers, Andre Weathers, Andrea Weathers, Natosha Tucker and Cedric Tucker; one sister, Ms. Leola Atkins; one brother, Mr. Joseph Atkins; 24 grandchildren, Xavier Duncan, Jelissa Patton, Montrieze Silmon, Jerrica Patton, Candace Hamilton, Christian Patton, Angela Lowery, Tyias Patton, Cierra Morris, Asijah Morris, Olivia Casimir, Ja’Quan Horton, Maya Adams, Diamond Broadnax, Jade Taylor, Coralee Patton, Noah Patton, Beau Patton, Taniya Morris, Floyd Morris, IV, Chloe Morris, Carter Morris, Taliyah Perry and Jaylen Dozier; 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
