To the family,
So very sorry for your loss. It is times like these that we need comfort and support, and I like to look to God's Word for both. I find scriptures such as Revelation 21: 4 which promises that death, pain and sorrow will soon be things of the past, and Acts 24:15 tells us that our dear loved ones will soon be resurrected to life here on earth,
I hope these scriptures helps you as they have for me. My thoughts and prayers will be with you at this most difficult time.

To the Edward Family
We are sorry to hear about the passing of Tepe D. Edwards. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time of great sadness. All can relate to the pain that the family now has to deal with. Since all are a part of God’s earthly family, when you grieve, we will all grieve together. Now we have to find a way to deal with our personal lost. What would really help is to be on the receiving end of getting words of comfort and encouragement to soothe our grieving hearts. I know that the many family members and friends will be their for you. But never should we leave God out of the equation. God has words of true comfort for all. In fact the scriptures reveal Him as the God of all tender mercy and comfort. ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4). The words of comfort that God provides will bring true blessing for ourselves and to our departed love ones. So for a moment please allow me to direct the family and friends to a loving promise that God is making known to people everywhere there reside. Your many tears that you have shed has not gone unnoticed by God. He remember every tear that has fallen from your eyes, and has collected them together and preserved them as if in a bottle. ( Psalm 56:8). Now notice what He purpose to do about all those bottles of tears that are stored up. From the scriptures He give this promise. He states that soon He would call to those in the grave, and that the dead would hear His voice and stand up in life again. ( John 5:28- 29) This texts is a personal guarantee from God that Tepe D. Edwards, and billions of others will stand up in life again. Would you not agree that these are comforting words to hear. Only God can make such a promise, and then carry such a promise out. Since He is the source of all creative life, nothing is impossible for Him to do. To help all to have strong faith in this promise, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand resurrection blessing soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one such example recorded at John 11:32-44. I would like to take this time to encourage all to take the time to read these comforting words from God. Yes Tepe will stand up in life again. So to the family we say keep these words near your heart at all times. When you go through period of shedding tears again remember this loving promise from God. The resurrection to life will indeed take place. For God does not lie. (. Titus 1:2)
