Michael Gooden, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life on August 28, 2018. Michael a native of Birmingham, AL was born on September 13, 1960 to Eddie " Sonnie" Gooden, Jr. and the late Henrietta Gooden. Throughout his walk in life he touched many lives. On Tuesday afternoon, August 28, 2018, Michael transitioned from his earthly home to united with his predeceased loved ones, his mother Henrietta C. Gooden; grandmother Mary C. Brown; two brothers Larry Gooden, and Roderick Gooden, and sister Rose Mary Gooden, and nephew Larry Gooden.

Michael's transition leaves his father, Eddie (Brenda) Gooden; a niece Dorothy Maul, and a nephew Roderick Maul. And a host of friends.
