Lydia (Wilson) Greene

Lydia Ruth Wilson (Greene) was born April 21, 1954 to the late Katherin Wilson and Charlie B. Wilson of Birmingham, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age. As an adult, she attended Refresh Family Church. Lydia received her education at A. H. Parker High School. Birmingham, Alabama is where she made a life for her and her children. For many, many years, Lydia worked at The Farmer’s Market.Lydia leaves to cherish all of her beautiful memories with two daughters, Santsise Wilson and Lakeasha Greene; five sons, (one preceded her in death) the late Derrick Greene, Milton (Wife) Greene, Dexter Wilson, Keddrick Greene and Billy Greene; her siblings, (two preceded her in death), the late Jerry Miller, the late Billy Wilson, Daniel (Diane) Wilson, John Williams, Ronnie Miller, Courtney Cole and Jackie Miller; a very dear friend, Warren Clark and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00pm at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel (Woodlawn)
