Leon Escott

Leon Escott was born October 9, 1945 to the late Ella Loftin in Montgomery, Alabama. He departed this life on August 12, 2019.He attended Birmingham Public Schools and worked professionally as a Chef. He was married to the late Cheryl Escott and was the father of one son, Leon Escott, Jr.He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Escott; his sister, Catherine Brown and Nellie Mae Green; his brothers, John Escott and Roosevelt Loftin.He leaves to cherish his memory: sisters, Ruth M. Escott and Shirley Nall Rembert; brothers, Wilson (Nora) Escott and Jessie Escott; sister-in-law, Loventric Loftin, all of Birmingham, AL; also, he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 17 at 11:00am  at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Zion Memorial Gardens.
