My deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in knowing that death was neither in God’s purpose or plan for mankind. If it were his plan would he promise to get rid of it? His word teaches in Revelations 21:4 that it will be no more. He states that in 1 Corinthians 15:54, 55 that death will be swallowed up forever.

I am sorry for your loss. May your family receive an abundance of care and comfort from the God of all comfort. His comfort is so far-reaching and dynamic that it comforts us so well that we are in turn able to comfort others in the process. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)
