Man what a blessing this brother was. He use to sing at our church in Woodlawn and man what a talent. I also remember one year it snowed two nights before christmas and Ervin was perfoming at French Quarters. There was only about 30 people who decided to stay as the snow started. Everyone who stayed got snowed in but Ervin song as if he owed it to everyone for staying. He will be missed...
