Douglas Donta White better known as “Kokane Slim” was born on April 11,1989 to LaVonne Hudson and Douglas Hawthorne of Birmingham, Alabama. He was the only son of five children.
Douglas was educated through the Birmingham City School System. He later on received his diploma in Kentucky. He also gave back to the kids in Kingston Community in many ways. Douglas had a strong love for the kids and they loved him as well. His family and friends were something he held dear to his heart. He was also a dedicated father to both of his kids.
Douglas surrendered his mortal life and United with his loved ones preceding him in death. His grandmother Mrs. Doris Jean David; his grandfather Mr. Arthur White; great grandmother Mrs. Inez McCall; stepfather Mr. Felandas Blair; brother Roderious “Nino” White; and a best friend RaKim “Roc” Hawkins whom greeted him on October 24, 2018.
Douglas leave to cherish his legacy: his loving mother Mrs. LaVonne (Reginald) Hudson ; father Douglas Hawthorne; two children DeLeah White-(Nyia Ragland) and Dontavious White-(Keyera McBride); six sisters TreMeka White, Felandria Blair, Yolanda Blair, Eulanda Blair, Alexis Hawthorne, and Keyosha Moore; three brothers Demetrius Trannon, TraVon Dunklin, and Terrio Pope; special grandmother Lelia Underwood; two nieces TreMethyst Lucas and X’zaria McDaniel; five uncles and three aunts; A special aunt Johnnie Mae White; A special friend CharKelia Parker ; best friend Donnanisha Jones; friends LaToya Banks and Ashley Brock.
