Darryl “Darrah” Burrell was born on June 7, 1964 to Thelma L. Burrell and Elliott Stone, Jr. in Birmingham, Alabama.He attended Hudson Elementary School and was a proud graduate and alumni of Carver High School, Class of 1982.At an early age, Darryl accepted Christ and attended Friendship Baptist Church, Collegeville. Always a hard worker, Darryl was a dedicated Machine Operator at Berman Brothers Iron and Metal Company, Inc. until his health declined.On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Darryl departed this life from labor to reward.He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all that knew him.He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Yattie D. Burrell; daughters, Demetrice (Patrick) Levins, Adrienne Powell, Darnesha Burrell and Danica Burrell; grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Kylan, Chloe and Lyric; four sisters, Monquetta (Milton, Sr.), Levoria Burrell and Tammy Burrell; brothers, Anthony “Tony” Pasley, Rickey (Patricia) Burrell and Elliott “DeWayne” Stone; aunts, Margie Carson, Genneater (Elton) Austin, Geraldine (Elvin) Coleman, Adell S. Loving, Delta L. Stone and Beverly L. (Jimmy) Lockett; uncle, Walter (Shirley) Burrell, John (Myrna) Burrell, Harvest (Edna) Burrell, Robert Burrell, James (Arlean) Stone and Wendell (Gail) Stone and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2019 at 12:00pm at Greater New Antioch Baptist Church with burial at Valhalla Cemetery..-
