Charles Anderson

Charles Edward Anderson, Sr. was born  February  9, 1952  in Birmingham, AL. He departed  this  life on Wednesday,  May 30, 2018.  He was a graduate of Hayes High School and a veteran of the United States Army.He was preceded in death by his parents: Della Mae and Arthur Anderson, Sr.; a brother, Arthur Anderson, Jr.; and a sister, Gwendolyn Heard: and a niece, Youn 'Kita Sheryce Heard. Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons: Charles (Irene) Anderson of Birmingham, AL; and Joseph (Melvin) Anderson of Chicago, IL; three daughters: Joslyn ( Eric) Turner; Ebony (Aldric) Parrish and Charlicia Anderson all of Birmingham, AL; eight grandchildren, seven nephews and two nieces. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00am at Eastside Funeral Home Chapel Woodlawn with interment at Alabama National Cemetery.
