Antonio M Kennedy

Antonio M. Kennedy, a resident of Birmingham, AL., entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2019. On April 22, 1996, a handsome baby boy was born to the parents of C. Ervin Kennedy and DeWana Campbell-Kennedy, with his name being Antonio Mar ternez Kennedy.Antonio confessed his love for Christ at an early age and was a member of Integrity Bible Church.He was educated in the Jefferson County School system. He was a proud graduate in the 2015 graduating class from Pleasant Grove High School.At an early age, he developed major athletic abilities in the areas of football, basketball and soccer. He love for sports began at A.G. Gaston Boys Club and continued through high school. He was a starting defensive linebacker at Pleasant Grove High School. The Legendary #6, ended his senior year with going all the way to the State Championship in 2015.He was a leader, well organized and heartwarming; always with a kind motivating word for anybody he made contact with, a great inspiration to all. Having the biggest smile, you ever could see or imagine.Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Vivian “Muffa” Campbell.He leaves to cherish his memories: loving mother, DeWana Campbell-Kennedy; father, C. Ervin (Catrina) Kennedy; two sisters, Nylah Campbell and Alexis Kennedy; grandparents, Mack (Ruby) Campbell, Carol Spruill Kennedy and Charles (Gloria) Kennedy, Sr.; a great grandmother, Evelyn T. McDonald; an uncle, Michael Campbell; a host of other cherished relatives, friends and neighbors Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Integrity Bible Church with interment at Oakland Memorial Gardens.
