My deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in knowing that death was neither in God’s purpose or plan for mankind. If it were his plan would he promise to get rid of it? His word teaches in Revelations 21:4 that it will be no more. He states that in 1 Corinthians 15:54, 55 that death will be swallowed up forever.

I am sorry for your loss. May your family look forward to the priceless time when the wicked one with all of his pain, suffering, and death will be completely done away with, and we will have the opportunity to reside exactly where God originally intended for us to live when He first created humans. (Psalms 37:10,11,29)
