Pauline Henderson Hall was born August 22, 1935. She was seventh born to the late Reverend I.H. Henderson and Minnie Ruth Pollard who had eleven children. Pauline received Christ at an early age. In her youth, she cultivated her God-given gift as a psalmist. For the rest of her life, Pauline used her powerful voice as a vessel of worship. She was the lead singer and member of the gospel groups Henderson Sisters, The Stars of Faith, and The Blakeland Echo’s. As the daughter of a pastor it’s not surprising that singing became her life’s passion and purpose.

Pauline was the mother of six children with Timothy Blake, Sr. As a parent, she felt the need to further her education and returned to high school while still raising young children.

Pauline’s second marriage of over thirty years was to the late Reverend Rochelle Hall. Together they served as Pastor and First Lady of multiple churches. During those years she continued to serve God and her community through song. She was often called upon to sing at various churches, special events, and celebrations.

Professionally, Pauline served as supervisor for The Taylor Company. She also worked as an Administrative Clerk and a beloved Crossing Guard for the City of Leeds. Upon retiring, Pauline spent her golden years enjoying family, planting flowers, playing Sudoku and word puzzles.

Well into her seventies, Pauline blessed family and friends through her texting ministry. Momma was the light in the room. She carried her smile like she carried a great pair of shoes and a matching purse. Yes, she was a fashionista. What we will always remember is her kindness and willingness to give.

Whenever you think of Pauline, know that she is singing, “Give Me My Flowers,” “Little Black Train,” and “Just Like Him” in the heavenly choir.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Ronald Blake, Yulinda Cook (Carl), Pastor Timothy Blake (Sandra), Randy Blake (Kimberly), Min. Valerie Stearnes (Daryel), Warren Blake (LaWanda); her bonus children, Vera Hall, Joyce Simms, Jonathan Hall (Monica), Monica Edwards; her grandchildren, LaTasha Blake; Wynter Cook; Pastor Jason Cook (Courtney); Jared Cook (Lana); Timothy Blake, III (Janaya); Derrick Blake (Shae); Randy Blake, Jr.; Gerald Blake; Daryel Stearnes, Jr. (LaShanndylon); Ariel Stearnes; Kanesha Blake; Kalandra Blake

Hall, Michael L. Hall (Dorothy); her sister-in-law, Luvenia Hall; Rev. Joeseph L.
