Pasty Elaine (Richardson) Rogers

Throughout her life, Patsy Elaine touched the hearts and lives of many. On the day of her birth, September 12, 1967, Albert and Anna Richardson became proud parents in Selma, Alabama. At a very early age, she confessed her love of Christ. Thereafter, her spiritual journey was one of morals, honor and respect.Patsy attended public school in the Birmingham City School system. She was a proud graduate in the Class of 1985 from A. H. Parker High School. As many young graduates did after high school, in 1986 she joined the United States  Navy.  Until 1988,  she  served with excellence  before being medically  discharged  as a proud Disabled Navy Veteran.She united in Holy Matrimony with the love of her life Michael. They shared in the joy of loving and caring for their children. Patsy's life was fulfilling as she lived it with love and value.On Sunday, June 25, 2017, Patsy found sweet rest and departed this earthly life. She is now in the heavenly garden with her loving grandmother, Georgia Mae Dixon, along with two uncles and a cousin.Gathered to comfort each other in grief and to honor the life of our beloved Patsy is: her devoted husband, Michael Rogers, Sr. of South Dakota; her precious daughters, Petria and Corrina Rogers of Birmingham, AL; her endearing son, Mikell Wayne Rogers of Birmingham, AL; her dearest mother, Anna Richardson of Birmingham, AL; her loving father, Albert (Vickie) Richard on of Buffalo , NY; her three dedicated sisters, Cathy Richard on of Birmingham, AL, Diana and Briana Richardson of Buffalo, NY; her five loyal brothers, Tyrone (Sheila) and Andre Richard on of Birmingham, AL and Johnathon, Josh and Jared Richardson of Buffalo, NY; a host of amazing nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
